Points of law
1) A foreign State enjoys immunity from the UK courts in respect of proceedings arising out of employment contracts of all members of its diplomatic mission, including locally engaged members of the technical and administrative staff;2) The requirement that a waiver of immunity must be by way of prior written agreement, must be an express and complete agreement to submit to the jurisdiction, made by the head of the diplomatic mission or some other person endowed with the authority of the sending State.
